SMELL OR ODOR
Pets are a part of our family so no one likes a family member to smell bad! We know that pets with bad odors are less likely to spend quality time with their owners and in some cases may be confined to certain areas of the home.
In most cases, bad odors are associated with infection (ear, skin or mouth). Anal sac disease can also cause an especially pungent odor. Evaluation by your veterinarian to determine the source of the odor is the first step. If associated with recurrent ear or skin infection evaluation by a veterinary dermatologist can be especially helpful.
